This year’s conference has the theme “Challenges for the New Government: Identifying Strategic Priorities”. At this transitional moment in British governance, this Conference will cover a range of topics including the Energy TransitionPlanning Reformthe Future of the Water SectorStatistics, and Governance Reform. 

We are assembling a distinguished lineup of speakers, including:

Prof. Tim Leunig, a multiple international prize-winning economist, 

Alex Plant, CEO of Scottish Water,

Cathryn Ross, the Strategy and External Affairs Director for Thames Water,

Claire Dykta, Strategy and Policy Director for ESO,

Ed Humpherson, the Director General for Regulation at the Office for Statistics Regulation,

Juliet Young, Chief Economist at Ofwat, 

Josh Buckland, Partner at Flint Global,

Georgina Sturge, House of Commons Library Statistician,

Elise Rohan, Head of Casework at the Office for Statistics Regulation,

Samuel Hughes, the Head of Housing at the Centre for Policy Studies,

John Myers, the cofounder of London YIMBY.

We are also delighted that this year’s Zeeman Lecture will be given by Sir John Kay, one of Britain’s leading economists.

To mark the importance of the change of government and the theme of the conference, we are only charging a one-off discounted rate of £200+VAT per ticket (which includes the food and drink costs of the Distinguished Fellows Dinner). For those wanting to reside in the College on the night of 9th September, accommodation is provided at cost price for £85+VAT. If you are eligible for a conference discount the cost for a ticket is £125+VAT.

Reservations can be made for both the conference and accommodation via filling out the form below and are on a first come first served basis.
